What is the GGW Chapter doing in the Chico, California area?

• We’re rewarding excellence, achievement and outstanding citizens.

• We’re handing out medals, badges, emblems, ribbons, rosettes, sashes, pins, and stars to members of our local community, based on merit.

• We’re reaching out to educate children through various programs including: American History Teacher Awards; Eagle Scout Scholarship Program; Essay Contest for grades 10-12; ROTC Cadet Awards; Oratory Contests; and Poster Contests.

• We’re giving public service awards to those in the Police, Fire, EMS, Government, and Judiciary fields.

• We’re attending public events.

• We’re walking in parades.

• We’re dressing in period costumes, when appropriate.

• We’re meeting once per month to learn more about how to get involved in the activities that support Liberty, Patriotism, and Education in our local community.

• We’re enjoying life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
